Khionia was an inhabited planet and homeworld of the Khionians. It was orbited by Sunset Moon. An oceanic world, Khionia was inhabited by aquatic lifeforms such as coral and sea tendrils. Ryllios was a location on the planet. (SA: "Ko'Zeine")

History

Darem Reymi had a trophy that he won by fighting a man with three legs on Khionia. (SA: "Beta Test")

A massive celebration was scheduled on Khionia, involving parades, fireworks, and copious amounts of alcohol, in early 3196 on the day following the royal sealing of Reymi and Kaira and their ascension to the throne. However, Reymi abdicated immediately after the ceremony, at Kaira's urging. (SA: "Ko'Zeine")

When the Venari Ral laid Omega-47 mines around the core of Federation space in 3196, Khionia was within the blast radius of one of the mines. (SA: "300th Night", "Rubincon")

Stellar cartography

In 3196, during the Omega-47 crisis, the location of Khionia was depicted on star charts and readouts used across several locations on the USS Athena to locate, monitor, and respond to the Omega-47 mines laid by the Venari Ral. (SA: "300th Night", "Rubincon")
