Background information[]

Going by Data's statement that the energy ribbon from Star Trek Generations passes through the Milky Way Galaxy every 39.1 years, it can be expected to return in 3112, 3151, and 3190.

Dating Star Trek: Starfleet Academy[]

According to Paramount+, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy takes place 125 years after the Burn (circa 3069). [1] This is largely consistent with Lura Thok's personnel file in "Kids These Days" stating that she was born in 3145 and fifty years of age, indicating a year of 3195 or 3196 for the season premiere. It is also consistent with the Miyazaki computer said to have been "offline for 125 years" after 3069 in "Come, Let's Away", resulting in 3194.

The yearbook entries in the end credits of "Rubincon" for the "graduating class of 3196" list Darem Reymi as the "Winner of 3196 Prince for a Day contest. (It was less than 45 minutes, but still…)", which possibly dates "Ko'Zeine" and the spring semester to 3196. If that is the case, however, the production could have included all the characters under a different title, since "graduating class of 3196" has an established literal meaning in the franchise, suggesting rather 3193 for the conclusion of the first academic year.

On the other hand, the ubiquitous stardates consistently convert to the fall semester of 3191 and the spring semester of 3192, which is surprisingly unlike their rarity and delayed increase on Star Trek: Discovery. The fifteen-year flashback to Caleb Mir’s childhood is ~15,000 units in the past, while the stardates of Darem Reymi’s birth and high school graduation are ~17,000 units apart and synchronized with his age of seventeen as well as stardates in the Academy fall semester. The dates of 3145 and 3164 in Lura Thok’s file are accompanied by stardates in the expected 822xxx and 841xxx ranges, respectively.
