Aaamazzara was an inhabited planet in the Epsilon Serpentis system. Located in the Alpha Quadrant, this planet was the homeworld of the Aaamazzarites and was approximately 72 light years from Sol.

History

In the 24th century, Commander Jerry Goldsmith, a crewmember aboard the USS Enterprise-D, was born on this non-Federation planet. In 2369, his planet of origin was listed on the chart "USS Enterprise Personnel Database", which was displayed on a PADD accessed by Captain Jean-Luc Picard. (TNG: "The Chase", okudagram)

In the 32nd century, Aaamazzara was a Federation member planet. It was listed with other members on a video wall in the USS Athena. (SA: "Kids These Days")

Stellar cartography

In the 3191, this planet's special designation as a homeworld was noted on a star chart. (DIS: "Red Directive")

In 3195, this planet's position was labeled on a Federation star chart which was displayed in Starfleet Academy's Stellar Cartography laboratory. Planets affiliated with the Federation, including this one, had blue labels. (SA: "Beta Test")

In 3196, during the Omega-47 crisis, the location of Aaamazzara (Therbia, Epsilon Serpentis) was depicted on star charts and readouts used across several locations on the USS Athena to locate, monitor, and respond to the Omega-47 mines laid by the Venari Ral. This planet was identified as the homeworld of the Aaamazzarites in background sources. This was an alien species seen in Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
In a listing of Federation members from the Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I"), Aaamazzara was listed as a member. The listing was dated in-universe to the year 2378.
