Goja V was an inhabited asteroid, and the fifth planet in the Goja system, Alpha Quadrant.

History

When the Betazoids erected a psionic wall around Betazoid space in the 3090s, this asteroid was inside the barrier. Due to its concealment, it was unknown to Starfleet databases until 3195. The settlement there was mostly controlled by gangs, with no central authority. (SA: "Beta Test")

After breaking out of prison in 3194, Nus Braka and Anisha Mir parted ways on Goja V, with Mir fooling Braka into believing she had been killed trying to escape. When Braka confronted her son Caleb a year later, he told him that it was "a damn shame, what happened to her" there. (SA: "Kids These Days", "300th Night")

Caleb was eventually able to locate Goja V by being granted access to the Betazed governmental star charts by Tarima Sadal. Captain Nahla Ake subsequently informed him that Starfleet Intelligence had reached Goja V and discovered Anisha to have departed for the Romov Sector three months prior. (SA: "Beta Test")

When the Venari Ral laid Omega-47 mines around the core of Federation space in 3196, this planet's system was within the enclosed region. (SA: "300th Night", "Rubincon")
