Wei, also known as Epsilon Scorpii or 26 Scorpii, was a star system in the Beta Quadrant. (PIC: "Disengage")
Components
Stellar system
This was a binary system. The primary Larawag (the proper name for Epsilon Scorpii A) was a K-type red giant.
Stellar cartography
Epsilon Scorpii was visible from Earth in the constellation Scorpius. It was approximately 65 light years from Sol.
In 3196, during the Omega-47 crisis, the location of Wei (Epsilon Scorpii) was depicted on star charts and readouts used across several locations on the USS Athena to locate, monitor, and respond to the Omega-47 mines laid by the Venari Ral. This system was outside the affected region. (SA: "300th Night", "Rubincon")
This star system was only mentioned in writing.
The location of this star system was seen on the bridge of the SS Eleos XII on what appears to be an updated chart from Star Trek: Star Charts. Dave Blass published pictures of the set on his website.
