Tellarite script with typographical callouts
Typography is the art and technique of letters and glyph design in written language.
In the 3190s, Starfleet Academy Cadet Caleb Mir snuck into a communications classroom in which script in the Tellarite language was displayed on a monitor, with callouts for typographical terms like uppercase, lowercase, counter, shoulder, cap height, finial, bowl, eye, x-height, stem, ascender, and descender.
