Tracken II was the habitable second planet in the Tracken system, Alpha Quadrant.

History

Between 2368 and 2373, this planet's system was in the Demilitarized Zone.

Sometime within these years, the Maquis established a colony on Tracken II.

In 2373, Captain Benjamin Sisko threatened to render the world uninhabitable to Humans using trilithium resin unless Michael Eddington surrendered himself and his stocks of cobalt diselenide. Eddington agreed, and the planet was spared. (DS9: "For the Uniform")

Later that year, however, the colony was destroyed by a Dominion-Cardassian fleet. (DS9: "By Inferno's Light")
