This template allows a navigational template to be set up relatively quickly by supplying it with one or more lists of links. It comes equipped with default styles that should work for most navigational templates. Using this template is highly recommended for standardization of navigational templates, and for ease of use.

Elements using the navbox class are not displayed in the main namespace on mobile devices. The majority of Memory Alpha's page views come from mobile devices. Navboxes are hidden on mobile devices because they are not well designed for mobile and can take up significant space due to the limited width available on mobile.

Usage

Parameters

The navbox uses lowercase parameter names, as shown in the box above. The |title= parameter should contain the text in the box's title bar, while |listn= should contain a wiki-list of related links. If only one link group is needed, use |list=, without a trailing number. |labeln= parameters may optionally be included to label the corresponding list.
