Star Trek: Scouts is a web-based short-form animated series that premiered on YouTube on 8 September 2025.

Summary

Meet the Star Trek Scouts! JR, Roo, and Sprocket are three best friends training to become future Starfleet explorers! Join their adventures as they blast asteroids, rescue cosmic critters, and work together to save the day in outer space with their intergalactic pet sidekicks, Zips, Bubbles, and Star!

Development

The series' title was initially trademarked by CBS Studios in May 2025 as Star Trek: Starfleet Scouts before being shortened to Star Trek: Scouts. [1]

Release

The first season was uploaded from 8 September 2025 to 6 December 2025; the second season was uploaded from 23 January 2026 to 21 March 2026.

YouTube Shorts

In addition to the trailer and full episodes, the "Blaze and the Monster Machines"/"Nick Jr." YouTube channel also published several YouTube Shorts videos showing scenes from previous episodes and compiling multiple Scouts episodes into one video, or combining them with episodes of other shows they produced.
