PNA

Needs a bit more specifically detailed info about the intercoms used about Starfleet vessels, such as the NX-01 Enterprise and those used aboard 23rd century starships. --From Andoria with Love 04:23, 27 October 2005 (UTC)

I am assuming that these are in reference to the various comm speaker-thingies seen throughout the NX-01 and the NCC-1701. I could have sworn we already had an article for those, but whatever. Anyway, if this is to be a page on those comm thingamabobs, there are a LOT more references to add. --From Andoria with Love 07:39, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Actually, there is a page about these 'companels' (was that term ever actually used? And if it is, shouldn't it at least be commpanel?) at intercom, with images and all. It might still be a PNA over at intercom, since it's missing some captain's chair stuff. And I'm not sure on this, but there were probably some intercom-like devices even in the 24th century? And perhaps on alien ships as well. -- Harry talk 11:19, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Except that it wouldn't surprise me if it was "companel", due to the spelling of "combadge" :) -- Sulfur 12:41, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

A script note

The first usage of the word "intercom" I've found in the final draft scripts of Star Trek: Enterprise (and I have been keeping a close watch on this) is in "Carpenter Street", outside the abandoned factory of the American Wrecking Company. --Defiant (talk) 08:43, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
