Paul Giamatti (born 6 June 1967; age 58) is an actor who played Nus Braka in the Star Trek: Starfleet Academy first season episodes "Kids These Days", "Come, Let's Away", and "Rubincon".
Giamatti commented: "My favorite series is Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, which I really, really love. I've probably–aside from the original – it's the most I've seen it, over and and over and over again, the most. So that would be my favorite one. The movie? The one with the whales, that's my favorite movie. It's such a great movie. And Wrath of Khan is a great one. But I do love The Voyage Home, that one feels so Star Trek to me and going back to Earth and stuff like that. And the stuff with Spock in it is hilarious. I just love that one." Giamatti is best known for his roles in films such as Private Parts (1997), American Splendor (2003, with Earl Billings), Sideways (2004, with Virginia Madsen), Cinderella Man (2005, with Bruce McGill, Ron Canada, Clint Howard, Nick Alachiotis, and Daniel Kash), and The Holdovers (2023, with Gillian Vigman).
