The Ohniaka system was a planetary system located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant. The system was in the same sector as the MS system and the New Berlin Colony.

This system had at least three planets, including the inhabited world Ohniaka III, home to the Ohniaka III Research Station.
History
Confrontation in the Ohinaka system
In the 24th century, this system was considered to have little strategic value to the Federation, despite the research station that they had established there.
In 2369, this system was invaded by a group of rogue Borg. Responding to distress calls, the USS Enterprise-D went to this system and drove away the Borg, but not before the Borg had massacred the population of Ohniaka III. (TNG: "Descent")
