Katra stone formations on Vulcan
Katra stones were a type of naturally occurring rock on the planet Vulcan, that had the inexplicable property of blocking telepathic activity.
In 2257, when Amanda Grayson sought to hide her son Spock, who was wanted on murder charges, she placed him in a sacred crypt lined with katra stones. (DIS: "Light and Shadows")
In the late 32nd century, katra stones were among the topics discussed in Confronting the Unexplainable, a Starfleet Academy seminar. (SA: "Series Acclimation Mil")
Katra stones presumably had some relation to katras and/or katric arks, as these all had some relation to telepathy.
