Fishsticks were a Human food made from processed fish meat formed into short "sticks", battered or breaded, and cooked. These could then be frozen and quickly reheated for convenient meals, known as TV dinners in the 20th century.
When Mestral chided Stron for never having experienced anything Humans had to offer while they were marooned on Earth in 1957, Stron sarcastically suggested frozen fishsticks to be among them. (ENT: "Carbon Creek")
