This was a single star system with a G-type primary.
Stellar cartography
In 3195, this system's position was labeled on a Federation star chart which was displayed in Starfleet Academy's Stellar Cartography laboratory. (SA: "Beta Test")
This star system was only mentioned in writing.
Information on the system's stars came from the Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 46) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Stellar Cartography", p. 18-19; "Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"). According to a map of the Cardassian Union – prepared by an anonymous astrography clerk, from the Cardassian Central Archives, in 2364 – Almatha was identified as a Cardassian system.
