Components

Stellar system

This was a single star system with a F-type primary.

Planetary system

Located in the system's habitable zone, there was the planet Ajilon Prime. This planet was home to the Federation colony Tananda Bay in the 24th century. This colony would later become a Klingon settlement.

History

In 2257, during the first Federation-Klingon War, this star's system was occupied by the Klingon Empire. (DIS: "The War Without, The War Within")

In the 32nd century, the system was color-coded as a Klingon system on Federation star charts, with the planet Ajilon Prime listed as a Federation member planet and the Tananda Bay colony on this planet color-coded on the forementioned charts as belonging to the Klingons. (SA: "Come, Let's Away", "The Life of the Stars")

Stellar cartography

In 2256, Ajilon was labeled on the star chart "Alpha/Beta Quadrant Overview" in the ready room aboard the USS Discovery. (DIS: "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad")

In 2257, Ajilon was labeled on the star chart showing the trajectory of Lieutenant Spock's shuttle. (DIS: "An Obol for Charon")

In 2258, the system's location was labeled on a star chart seen on the main viewscreen of the USS Enterprise. (DIS: "Such Sweet Sorrow, Part 2")

In 2259, the location of this system was labeled on a stellar cartography chart that was seen on the USS Enterprise''s ready room viewscreen. This system's symbol had a blue color, indicating that it was affiliated with the United Federation of Planets. (SNW: "Strange New Worlds", "Children of the Comet", "Spock Amok")

On stardate 1292.4, the location of Ajilon was labeled on a star chart used during a Section 31 Alpha Team briefing. (Star Trek: Section 31)

The system's location was labeled in a Federation star chart that was in Fleet Admiral Kirsten Clancy's office at Starfleet Headquarters in 2399 and on the bridge of the USS Titan-A in 2401. The Ajilon system was in or near to Klingon space. (PIC: "Maps and Legends", "The Next Generation", "Disengage")

In the late 32nd century, this system was located in the Klingon Zone. (DIS: "There Is A Tide...")

In 3196, this system's position was labeled on a Federation star chart which was displayed on the main viewscreen of the USS Athena bridge. Systems affiliated with the Klingons, including this one, had red labels. (SA: "Ko'Zeine")

Later that year, during the Omega-47 crisis, the location of Ajilon (Tananda Bay) was depicted on star charts and readouts used across several locations on the USS Athena to locate, monitor, and respond to the Omega-47 mines laid by the Venari Ral. (SA: "Rubincon")
