Timothy Lee "Tim" Lawrence (23 November 1958–26 December 2018; age 60) was a special character effects artist and puppeteer who worked as the latter on Industrial Light & Magic's whale crew on Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. Along with Tony Hudson, Lawrence produced a three-piece fiberglass mold from the miniature humpback whales.
