Usage

This template is used to link to the DrexFiles^(X) website entries. A variable is required giving the end path to the article or file in question, and a second variable can be used to alter the linking text.

If no initial variable is given, the link will go to the main DrexFiles webpage, such as:

{{DrexFiles}}

Which would produce:

DrexFiles^(X)

To link to an article or file, for example the article about the Warp Delta or the file including notes about the rank of Commodore, you would have a template call as such:

{{DrexFiles|2009/04/24/ste-warp-delta-pictorial/}}
{{DrexFiles|file=2011/02/untitled-6.jpg}}

This will produce:

[1]^(X)

[2]^(X)

If text is desired, such as "Warp Delta" or "rank notes", the following format should be used:

{{DrexFiles|2009/04/24/ste-warp-delta-pictorial/|Warp Delta}}
{{DrexFiles|file=2011/02/untitled-6.jpg|rank notes}}

This will produce:

Warp Delta^(X)

rank notes^(X)

For example, if you wish the links to be formatted as an external link on the Unnamed Earth starship classes or Commodore pages, the following format should be used:

{{DrexFiles|2009/04/24/ste-warp-delta-pictorial/||external}}
{{DrexFiles|file=2011/02/untitled-6.jpg||external}}

This will produce:

Unnamed Earth starship classes^(X) at the DrexFiles^(X)

Commodore^(X) at the DrexFiles^(X)

If you wish the external link to display different text, the following format should be used:

{{DrexFiles|2009/04/24/ste-warp-delta-pictorial/|Warp Delta|external}}
{{DrexFiles|file=2011/02/untitled-6.jpg|Rank notes|external}}

This would produce:

Warp Delta^(X) at the DrexFiles^(X)

Rank notes^(X) at the DrexFiles^(X)
