The series' title was initially trademarked by CBS Studios in May 2025 as Star Trek: Starfleet Scouts before being shortened to Star Trek: Scouts. [1]

The first half of the season's episodes were released from 8 September 2025 to 6 December 2025; the second half was uploaded from 23 January 2026 to 14 February 2026.
