A rover was a type of robotic or manned vehicle used in planetary exploration.
Manned Lunar rovers were included as part of the Apollo missions to Luna in the 1960s and 1970s. In 2024, an exhibit on Lunar rovers was included at the Europa Gala. (PIC: "Two of One")
On July 4, 1997, the NASA robotic rover Sojourner became the first rover on Mars. By 2155, the Mars Historical Preservation Society had located the now-derelict rover and erected a monument near it to honor that achievement. (ENT: "Terra Prime")
