Polaris XII was the twelfth planet in the Polaris star system. It was located hundreds of light years away from Vadia IX.

In 2256, Doctor Roger Korby discovered a signet ring, bearing what he believed was a royal insignia, on Polaris XII. The symbol used the same alphabet as text found on Praetorian and Vadia IX, suggesting all three worlds had once been occupied by the same advanced spacefaring civilization in the distant past.
