Your username or IP address has been blocked from editing Memory Alpha.
- Start of block: $8
- Expiration of block: $6
- Blocking admin: $1
- Intended target of block: $7
- Reason given: $2
Even though you have been blocked, you can probably still edit your user talk page, which gives you the opportunity to appeal the block. You can also try contacting Memory Alpha's administrators via Discord.
Your current IP address is $3, and the block ID is #$5. Please include these details in any private communications with the administrators.
Are you innocent?
In rare instances, it may be necessary to block IP ranges or shared proxies. This means that innocent people may not be able to edit pages on Memory Alpha. If this is the case, then the reason should have been explained above.
Alternatively, some individual dynamic IP addresses may have been blocked, but usually only for a 24-hour period. If you are using a dynamic IP address (which is usually used by those with dial-up Internet connections), then you may be unintentionally using the same IP address as someone who previously vandalized Memory Alpha.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience our block has caused. If you encounter this problem repeatedly (and for a period longer than 24 hours), please help us resolve the issue by contacting one of the administrators, as well as your Internet Service Provider.
Are you just reading?
No users are ever blocked from just reading Memory Alpha articles. If you are reading this message, you most likely followed a red link. On Memory Alpha, red links point to articles that do not yet exist, and normally take users to an editing screen. If you only wish to read at Memory Alpha, you should only follow the blue links.
