John Zimeas (12 December 1920–31 May 1978; age 57) [1] was an actor who played a Platonian spectator in the Star Trek: The Original Series third season episode "Plato's Stepchildren". As a background performer, he received no credit for his role. He filmed his scenes on Tuesday 17 September 1968 at Desilu Stage 10.
Throughout his twenty-year career in Hollywood, Zimeas usually appeared in uncredited bit and background roles in films and television.
