Grosset & Dunlap is a publishing company founded in 1898 that published the Star Trek reference book A Star Trek Catalog.
Grosset & Dunlap was acquired by National General Corporation in 1968 [1] which was acquired by American Financial Corporation in 1973 [2]. Grosset & Dunlap was then acquired by Filmways in 1974 [3] and by the Putnam Publishing Group in 1982 [4]. Penguin Books acquired Putnam in 1996 [5] and merged with Random House in 2013 to form the Penguin Random House publishing company [6].
