Background information
Lucien, the goat-man.
The script of TAS: "The Magicks of Megas-Tu" described the character of Lucien as "half-goat, half-man, complete with cloven hooves, horns, and tail. He is the image of all the goat gods of supernatural mythology."
The same script includes a scene wherein Lucien was to engage in an elaborate dance with Kirk, Spock and Doctor McCoy, behavior that the script describes as Lucien's "violent goat dance," although the dance is not included in the episode's final version. The script later described Lucien as "the goat-man."
