Gerry Conway (10 September 195227 April 2026; age 73) was one of the primary writers of the Star Trek comic strip in 1983.

Conway was a professional writer from the age ofsixteen. He wrote a wide variety of materials including comic books, novels, short stories, screenplays, and television shows. In the comics industry, he is best known for his run on The Amazing Spider-Man, during which Gwen Stacey died and The Punisher was introduced to the Marvel universe. His other main creation was with Al Milgrom, the DC character Firestorm.
