Has MA ever enabled users to hover the cursor over a link and see an image of the beginning of that page like Wikipedia does (rather than the page title, as it does now)? Is this something users would be interested in? -LauraCC (talk) 23:07, 20 September 2025 (UTC)

This feature has never been available on Memory Alpha, as far as I know. I've sent in a request for Fandom to add this feature as an option users can turn on in their preferences, but this will probably take some time, if it happens at all. In the meantime, I could create a gadget replicating the feature's behavior, but I'm not up for that at the moment. Perhaps I will at some point, though. 🖖 Mr. Starfleet Command (talkcontribs) 16:56, 21 September 2025 (UTC)

I don't mind waiting for their reply. :) -LauraCC (talk) 17:00, 21 September 2025 (UTC)

For what it's worth, I don't recall ever seeing this on any other Fandom wiki. Has anyone else? Because if not, it would be something they would have to roll out sitewide, and I don't know if it would be a priority. A gadget may end up being the best way to go. Turns out Fandom already supported this extension, so they were easily able to enable it. 🖖 Mr. Starfleet Command (talkcontribs) 15:21, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
