The Dorala system was a star system inside Klingon space in the Beta Quadrant.

History

In 2260, Dorala was within the area of effect of a quantum uncertainty field. (SNW: "Subspace Rhapsody")

During the Dominion War of the 2370s, the Federation Alliance-held this system. In 2374, General Martok reported to Captain Benjamin Sisko that three Klingon attack cruisers were bolstering up the defense perimeter of the Dorala system. Sisko was pleased by the news, stating that he just hoped they could hold out until Starfleet could send reinforcements. He was assured that the Klingons would hold out until their arrival. (DS9: "The Reckoning")

Stellar cartography

In 2259, the location of this system was labeled on a stellar cartography chart seen on the USS Enterprise's ready room viewscreen. The system's symbol was a red Klingon Empire logo, indicating its affiliation with the empire. (SNW: "Children of the Comet")

In 2260, Dorala was labeled on a star chart denoting the spread of a quantum uncertainty field across the region. It was marked as a Klingon system. (SNW: "Subspace Rhapsody")

In 2261, the location of Dorala was depicted on a star chart used by the crew of the USS Enterprise to highlight the location of Vadia. It was labeled as a Klingon system. (SNW: "Through the Lens of Time")

This system was only mentioned in dialogue.
The primary of this system was classified as a F-class star by the Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 64) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385").
