History

In 2364, USS Enterprise-D entered the system in pursuit of a D'Kora-class warship which was alleged to have participated in the theft of a T-9 energy converter on Gamma Tauri IV. (TNG: "The Last Outpost")

Stellar cartography

In 2259, the location of this system was labeled in a stellar cartography chart seen on the USS Enterprise's ready room viewscreen. (SNW: "Children of the Comet")

In 2260, Delphi Ardu was labeled on a star chart denoting the spread of a quantum uncertainty field across the region. It was marked blue, indicating it had been claimed by the Federation. (SNW: "Subspace Rhapsody")

In 2261, the location of Delphi Ardu was depicted on a star chart used by the crew of the USS Enterprise to highlight the location of Vadia. It was marked blue, indicating it had been claimed by the Federation. (SNW: "Through the Lens of Time")

The system's primary was classified as a M-class star by the Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 37; "United Federation of Planets II") and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385").
