David Borgenicht (born 20 September 1968; age 57) is an editor, author, and publisher who wrote the The Star Trek Book of Opposites.
Among many writing credits, he is the co-author (with Joshua Piven) of the successful Worst Case Scenario book series. He is the founder and publisher of Quirk Books, a book packager and publisher of books in various categories including reference, science fiction and fantasy, humor, cooking, and entertainment. When Andrews McMeel Publishing acquired Quirk Books in 2025, he was named the publisher of the Quirk Books imprint at Andrews McMeel. [1]
