David Benjamin Tomlinson (born 14 August) [1] is an actor and writer who played several roles (usually aliens in heavy prosthetic makeup), most notably the recurring part of Linus, in Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Short Treks, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Star Trek: Section 31, and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.

Tomlinson's credits include the 2004 sports drama Miracle (with Kenneth Mitchell and Kenneth Welsh) and guest appearances on series such as Queer as Folk, Orphan Black (starring Tatiana Maslany, with Raven Dauda and Roger Cross), Conviction (with Merrin Dungey), Designated Survivor (with Zoe McLellan, Jake Epstein, Chelsea Harris, Etan Muskat, and Vanessa Smythe), Baroness Von Sketch Show (with Zarrin Darnell-Martin and Jamillah Ross), Grand Army (with Raven Dauda), and Murdoch Mysteries (with Clare McConnell).
