The D'Ryb J system was a planetary system in the Beta Quadrant. It contained the inhabited moon of J'Gal.

History

Prior to the outbreak of the Federation-Klingon War in 2256, this system lay in disputed space between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. The Klingons would attempt to conquer the entire sector during the war. (SNW: "Under the Cloak of War")

Stellar cartography

In 2260, D'Ryb J was labeled on a star chart denoting the spread of a quantum uncertainty field across the region. It was outside of the area effect of the phenomena. It was marked as a Federation system. (SNW: "Subspace Rhapsody")

In 2261, the location of D'Ryb J was depicted on a star chart used by the crew of the USS Enterprise to highlight the location of Vadia. It was labeled as a Federation system. (SNW: "Through the Lens of Time")

In 2324, the location of this system was labeled on a star chart used during a Section 31 Alpha Team briefing. (Star Trek: Section 31)
