In 2267, the USS Enterprise visited this system when it came in for general repair and maintenance at Cygnet XIV. (TOS: "Tomorrow is Yesterday")

Stellar cartography

In 2259, the location of this system was labeled on a stellar cartography chart that was seen on the USS Enterprise's ready room viewscreen. This system's symbol had a blue color, indicating that it was affiliated with the United Federation of Planets. (SNW: "Strange New Worlds", "Children of the Comet")

In 2260, Cygnet was labeled on a star chart denoting the spread of a quantum uncertainty field across the region. It was outside of the area effect of the phenomena. It was marked as a Federation system. (SNW: "Subspace Rhapsody")

In 2261, the location of Harlak was depicted on a star chart used by the crew of the USS Enterprise to highlight the location of Vadia. It was labeled as a Federation system. (SNW: "Through the Lens of Time")

On stardate 1292.4, the location of this system was labeled on a star chart used during a Section 31 Alpha Team briefing. (Star Trek: Section 31)

This star system was only mentioned in writing.
The name of this system came from the source material used, the Star Trek: Star Charts and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library, to create the star charts seen in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
